Calling Election - 2008-08-07

We at Naked News are prepared to call the upcoming US Presidential election – NOW.

We’ve sized up the candidates and have come to the conclusion, that the next US president will be Barack Obama!

We’ve studied the facts and wholeheartedly believe that most Republicans will vote for the Republican nominee John McCain, as in the same tone most democrats will vote for Obama BUT it’s the "undecideds" that will sway this election!

And the one thing that will get them singing Obama’s praises comes down to a very important factor, when trying to win a popularity contest... IMAGE!

Obama has become the media darling flashing not only his flawless grin in photo opts but his beautiful wife and darling daughters- painting the perfect picture of a modern happy family.

He’s young, fresh, athletic, very well spoken and it’s no big surprise that his good looks and snazzy fashion sense has gotten him a lot of media attention. It’s a hard package to beat and McCain just doesn’t cut it!

The Vietnam vet is the oldest presidential candidate in US history and that right there is a strike against him, especially when a vast majority of "undecideds" are young voters. McCain just doesn’t dazzle as nicely as his opponent. He’s stiff, lacks charisma and is just plain OLD SCHOOL.

Not a great combo for a country looking for CHANGE. And interestingly enough Obama seems to be all about that.

He opposed the Bush Administration's plan to go to war and introduced the Iraq War De-escalation Act in 2007. He’s committed to improving technology and investing in renewable fuels such as wind and solar power! Promises that are sure to put smiles on American voter’s faces that want nothing more with what they currently have.

With a package wrapped in such a pretty bow and a rival with out much gusto is there any doubt that the next commander-in-chief, leader of the free world, decider of all things not be the one with the BEST overall image?
