Fashion photographer Amelia Allen is well-versed in the modeling industry's "flawless" expectations when it comes to the human body. Her latest series explores the beauty and boundless acceptance of the naturist community in the UK. She claims that working on the project helped her learn to love the skin she is in, she even posed for a couple snaps herself! Some of the images below are from the gallery opening that was, of course-- NAKED! Check out the full article here.

Meet Manny Roman. This NYC based photographer is known worldwide for his sexy, stripped down shots- and it's easy to see why. He prefers his subjects to be as naked as possible- including their faces. Manny likes to shoot women without makeup, in order to expose their "essence. And sometimes, it's a touch job.
"I used to think the simplicity aspect was easy, but it isn't," he says. "Many times it's easier for models to hide behind the makeup and clothes, but once you ask them to be shot with no makeup, it's as if they feel naked."
Jojo, a photographer from Plymouth, in England, has released a new photography book. Naked Truth: Plymouth Unveiled offers over 100 photos of nude women from Plymouth, between ages 18-74.
Jojo has said of his inspiration:
'I have been making naked portraits for 17 years, my first book came out in 2000.'This latest one came about after a friend asked me in January last year to take pictures of her because she was happy with her body. 'The thought then occurred to me to revisit my first book called Plymouth Unveiled.'But I wanted to improve on it so I invited all of the women to write about how they feel about their bodies and the more I did the more beautiful it seemed.
We're all for body positivity- AND nudity.
