Bio: Sandrine Renard, age 37, Joined the Naked News anchor team in July, 2001, and reports mainly on health and lifestyle features. Her zest, energy, and nonstop enthusiasm made her an ideal candidate for the position.
From northern Ontario, and of French-Ojibway heritage, this attractive, outgoing woman infuses all that she does with a mystery and flair that are uniquely her own. A university graduate, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Psychology and Theater Arts, she has worked as a personal trainer and kickboxing teacher.
Sandrine's love of the dramatic arts led to her co-ownership of a theater company, which has staged the plays of Shakespeare and Sam Shepard, as well as original works. She has also been concentrating on independent films, and plans to attend film school in the near future. Sandrine enjoys writing poetry and plays, going to movies and visiting museums, and she balances these more sedate hobbies by performing fire and pyrotechnic shows with a circus troupe. An avid supporter of animal rights, she rescued and adopted her two pet Rottweilers, and is active with two animal rescue organizations.
When not at home or on the job, New York City is one of her favorite travel destinations, and she looks forward to visiting Scotland, Ireland, and Prague. Sandrine's is a pioneering spirit - she is ever-driven to explore vistas and ideas that keep her world fresh and alive with new challenges and experiences.
